2020 has been an interesting year.  With the COVID-19 pandemic, many gyms were shut down and trainers were out of in-person work.  Clients and members resorted to YouTube and other online resources for their workouts and other health/fitness content.

This pandemic has expedited the changes that we foresaw when we developed Milo.  Evidence-based training, quality data, and specified reporting are all going to be essential in the new fitness economy.  In addition, it has to be a smooth and intuitive experience for end users or else they will never adhere to a program – no matter how good.

Milo enables us to stay connected and engage our clients.  Producing content is crucial to becoming a subject matter expert.  We have created a platform that is easy to use and helps trainers and coaches SCALE their business and impact.

Without systems in place, trainers spend too much time focusing on the logistics of their business rather than building and refining their actual product.  2020 has shown us that we cannot be stagnant.  We must adapt and be fluid in our approach in helping others.

What lessons has 2020 taught you?  How optimistic are you about the future of health and fitness?
